Competence of Witness in Question?

Bill White Trial Gossip

Some gossip has begun to appear around the impending trial of Bill White on Facebook.

An anonymous facebook user recently posted on Facebook that the prosecution is considering dropping one of its key witness do to evidence appearing which calls their character and honesty into question.

"Apparently the government has concerns over the witness having substance abuse issues, and has previously bee convicted of making false statements, during which time this individual lied to investigators. Furthermore it seems she is facing fraud - all of which throws her integrity and value as a witness into question. It seems possible that they drop the witness due to their negative impact on the outcome of the case. Would be funny if the government blew its chances of winning by presenting a dodgy witness lol."

Dodgy witnesses are sure to screw up a case indeed. Bill White may actually be better off if they do use this one!
